Description

  • Build and ship FC App features, including management dashboards, shift planning, slotting, roster and labor tracking, and operational workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and LLM APIs to move quickly while owning code quality, cost, latency, and maintainability.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered solutions and agents for fulfillment center operations, including multimodal document and data processing.
  • Implement appropriate evals, guardrails, observability, QA, security, and documentation for AI-driven systems.
  • Partner with fulfillment center leaders, operators, and technology teams to identify operational pain points and prioritize the automation backlog.
  • Integrate operational data sources such as Dayforce, S&OP forecasts, 21-day plans, and toolkit tables.
  • Drive solutions from concept through production adoption and ongoing support.
  • Expand AI and automation across fulfillment operations by staying current with emerging technologies and communicating trade-offs and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in full-stack development and coding with Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Ability to integrate systems, leverage APIs, and build custom solutions beyond no-code tools.
  • Experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, APIs, and ideally evals, observability/tracing, guardrails, MCP servers, or orchestration tools like n8n/Agent SDK.
  • Strong business partnership and delivery skills with the ability to translate operational needs into software and iterate quickly based on feedback.
  • Ability to work with increasing independence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.
  • Fulfillment, operations, or e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Remote work requires an available work-from-home setup, including dual monitors, a headset, a webcam, and stable wired internet of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Desktop/laptop must meet minimum specs: 4th gen Intel i3 or equivalent, 4GB RAM, and Windows 10+ or macOS.
