Description

  • Lead or support deployment of MAS 9.1 AI services, including Maximo Assistant, Work Order Intelligence, FMEA Builder, and embedded WatsonX capabilities.
  • Configure AI features to align with customer business rules, asset structures, and operating models.
  • Work with Cognos 12 and DataMax AI to build AI-driven dashboards, KPI reporting, predictive maintenance views, and asset health intelligence.
  • Ensure data readiness, integrity, and AI model alignment across Maximo environments.
  • Transform customer maintenance planning, work order lifecycle, failure analysis, reliability engineering, and asset lifecycle management processes using AI.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases and guide customers through their first 90-day AI transformation.
  • Support partners with AI readiness, architecture, and rollout planning.
  • Train end-users, planners, engineers, and executives on MAS 9.1 native AI and DataMax AI features.
  • Help clients build an organization-wide AI operating model.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Maximo, MAS 8, or MAS 9.
  • Strong understanding of Maximo EAM modules, including Work Management, Assets, Job Plans, Preventive Maintenance, Locations, Inventory, and Procurement.
  • Experience with MAS 9.1 features is a major advantage.
  • Experience with WatsonX.ai, including LLMs, data labelling, and model governance.
  • Experience with Cognos 11/12.
  • Experience with AI/ML-based recommendations or predictive insights.
  • Strong understanding of data classifications, codes, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain AI concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with both technical and business teams.
  • Experience with FMEA, RCA, and reliability engineering is preferred.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance or asset performance management is preferred.
  • Experience with Maximo upgrades, migrations, or integrations is preferred.
  • Exposure to DataMax AI or similar intelligence layers is preferred.
  • Certification in Maximo or WatsonX is a plus.
