Description

  • Build and maintain project plans, critical paths, sprint timelines, and delivery trackers in Smartsheet.
  • Track scope, hours, budget, burn rate, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and action items in real time.
  • Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and customer status cadences.
  • Personally remove blockers, manage escalations, and drive risks and issues to closure before commitments slip.
  • Translate technical progress into business updates and customer priorities into clear, estimable engineering requirements.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews across India and three U.S. time zones, documenting and distributing decisions.
  • Negotiate scope changes and prepare formal change requests with impact analysis, trade-offs, and options.
  • Drive sprint predictability through velocity planning, burndown tracking, prioritization, and timely replanning.
  • Onboard engineers and maintain project charters, meeting records, documentation libraries, capacity plans, timesheets, and team calendars.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of delivery experience on cloud engineering or data engineering projects.
  • Experience managing at least one fixed-bid project from kickoff through closure, including client scope-change negotiation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and Clockify.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics, including velocity, burndown, and sprint predictability.
  • Demonstrated record of driving delivery outcomes rather than only reporting or coordinating.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities, with explicit data-driven trade-offs.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and proactively creating structure.
  • Experience managing AWS Data Lake projects (preferred).
  • PSM, Managing Jira Projects, or Smartsheet certification (preferred).
