Description

  • Plan and execute evergreen social media initiatives, campaigns, and communications projects.
  • Manage concurrent projects, including scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate teams across social media, content, creative, design, video, community, PR, marketing, analytics, and external partners.
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, stakeholder check-ins, and retrospectives.
  • Build and manage workflows in Asana and Google Workspace, tracking resources, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks, resource constraints, and scope changes, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Support content and campaign workflows from development through approval and publication.
  • Develop project documentation, dashboards, processes, and reporting on project health and campaign performance.
  • Establish communication practices and decision-making processes for distributed teams across time zones.
  • Implement process improvements that reduce bottlenecks and improve project delivery.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in social media project management or a similar role.
  • 2+ years of experience working remotely with distributed teams.
  • Experience using Asana and Google Workspace.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, planning, time management, stakeholder management, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience collaborating across cultures, communication styles, and multiple time zones.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, build trust, influence without authority, and enforce accountability.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, flexibility, curiosity, resilience, and commitment to inclusive collaboration.
  • Experience with an international organization or distributed workforce (preferred).
  • Nonprofit experience or fluency in languages besides English (preferred).

  • US annual pay range of $91,435–$140,810, adjusted by country for applicants outside the US.
