Description

  • Create, convert, export, and prepare subtitle formats and deliverable assets.
  • Apply client-specific protocols and follow special instructions for each project.
  • Perform technical quality control on English and non-English subtitle files.
  • Communicate project specifications, revisions, and approvals to internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Create backup files for client archival purposes.
  • Coordinate with the Keywords Studios global and project teams on a project-by-project basis.
  • Assist team members and resources by resolving problems and answering queries promptly.
  • Carry out other subtitling-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional subtitling experience.
  • Solid technical understanding of subtitling tools such as Wincaps, EZtitle, and Spot.
  • Knowledge of subtitle and closed captioning formats including SCC, SRT, STL, PAC, and TTML (.dfxp, .xml, .ttml).
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written, is required; bilingual ability is highly preferred.
  • Previous subtitle localization experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global team environment and independently.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document processes concisely.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
