Description

  • Translate content from English into Simplified Chinese for gaming-related projects.
  • Complete a translation test and submit required documents for review by translation leads.
  • Work with localization materials as part of an ongoing global translator pool.
  • Use translation tools and manage terminology and translation memory resources as needed.
  • Collaborate within a long-term freelance workflow after successful onboarding.
  • Handle assignments autonomously in a remote freelance arrangement.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Simplified Chinese is required.
  • Strong English comprehension is required.
  • A university degree in translation, language studies, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Extensive localization experience is required.
  • Gaming localization experience and/or a strong passion for video games is required.
  • Computer skills are required, including experience with translation tools and TM/terminology management.
  • Candidates must be freelancers or agencies/LSPs worldwide.
  • Professional and experienced candidates are preferred.
