Description

  • Rapidly concept, prototype, and ship AI-powered demos tied to emerging models and use cases.
  • Monitor new generative AI models, APIs, tools, and capabilities and identify creative applications.
  • Use AI-assisted development and rapid experimentation to move ideas into working experiences.
  • Build functional prototypes, lightweight applications, interactive experiences, and developer-facing demos.
  • Translate experiments into code, screen recordings, social content, technical tutorials, and open-source repositories.
  • Collaborate with creative, design, engineering, and production teams while providing technical direction.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining a high standard of craft and execution.
  • Work independently from ambiguous ideas through polished, audience-ready prototypes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in creative technology, prototyping, creative development, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Portfolio demonstrating functional prototypes, interactive experiences, experiments, or technically driven creative work.
  • Meaningful experience with Gemini and Google’s AI developer ecosystem, including its models, APIs, and tools.
  • Strong familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, multimodal models, APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Strong coding and prototyping skills using modern front-end frameworks and development tools.
  • Ability to experiment with newly released models and work without an established playbook.
  • Strong creative judgment regarding what makes a technical demo useful, surprising, entertaining, or shareable.
  • Ability to independently turn ambiguous ideas into functional prototypes with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to developers and broader audiences.
  • Experience with developer-facing content, social-first creative, technical tutorials, or open-source projects is preferred.

Benefits

  • Contract pay range of $74–$109 per hour, adjusted based on location, experience, and skillset.
  • Regional cost-of-living pay adjustments across three U.S. ranges.
  • Benefits may be available under applicable law and company policy, based on hours worked and assignment duration.
  • Freelance contract running ASAP through February 26, 2027, at 40 hours per week.
