Description

  • Lead product design across active product initiatives and help define problem spaces, trade-offs, and solutions.
  • Audit clinical and operational workflows using research, product data, and design reviews to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and scale Figma-based design system components, patterns, tokens, and libraries.
  • Design architectures for complex data, dynamic error states, and varied user environments.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interactive flows in Figma.
  • Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate exploration and discovery.
  • Lead user research and discovery to mitigate product risk before development.
  • Ensure designs meet clinical safety and WCAG accessibility standards, incorporating competitive UX research.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data to evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate design rationale.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and design reviews, manage timelines, mentor designers, and document work for handoff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of end-to-end product design experience, preferably in health tech, digital health, or complex enterprise SaaS.
  • Master-level Figma proficiency, including auto-layout, advanced component variables, dynamic states, and plugins.
  • Experience managing design systems, tokenization, and enterprise-scale design libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven prototyping or generative design tools.
  • Experience using research, data, and competitive audits to guide product strategy and reduce project risk.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and clinical or data safety guidelines.
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design, systems thinking, and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to build context quickly and work independently in an established product organization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Availability during standard business hours with overlap across US time zones.

Benefits

  • Annualized base salary of $114,000–$127,000.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage beginning on the first day, plus other eligible employee benefits.
  • 401(k) with company match, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and paid service days.
  • Four-week paid sabbatical and 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Fully remote work with periodic in-person retreats.
  • Full-time temporary assignment expected to run approximately November 2026 through April 2027.
