Description

Coordinate internal and external referral orders for specialty care, imaging, prior authorizations, and other related orders.
Support members by phone and messaging to ensure referrals and orders are completed and routed to the correct external providers.
Assist patients with facility maps, location details, and direct dial numbers.
Coordinate medical records, imaging, and procedural results so external providers have the information needed before appointments.
Maintain and manage electronic medical records and records requests.
Assist providers with completing patient forms, including Medical Opinion forms and SSI Disability forms, when appropriate.
Collaborate with providers, the care team, patient support, and compliance teams.
Handle a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to take meticulous notes and document actions taken.
Proficiency with Google Suite or related software.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to creatively solve problems.
Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices.
Ability to be self-sufficient and use resources effectively to answer questions.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at once.

Benefits

Full-time contract position.
Hourly pay of $19.00 in the United States.
Pay determined by work location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Structured geographic pay bands based on cost of labor.
