Description

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.
  • Prepare client invoicing for managed services, project work, and software licensing, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on collections, and coordinate contract-driven billing accuracy with internal teams.
  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card transactions while maintaining vendor records and timely payments.
  • Collect and organize receipts and attach supporting documentation to QuickBooks Online transactions for audit and compliance.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain deferred revenue and prepaid expense schedules and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Support compliance activities, tax filings, audits, and accounting process documentation and SOPs.
  • Provide variance analysis, financial insights, budgeting and forecasting support, and backup payroll processing as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, prepare, and analyze financial statements.
  • Experience in an MSP, SaaS, or technology services environment strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related integrations.
  • Familiarity with Bill.com, ConnectBooster, HubDOC, and Autotask.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and variance analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take ownership, collaborate across teams, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
