Description

Translate and localize written materials between Hindi and English.
Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency.
Adapt tone and style based on the target audience and project requirements.
Perform linguistic quality assurance across different content formats.
Provide guidance on Hindi terminology, idioms, and cultural context.
Review content produced by other contributors and provide actionable feedback.
Maintain terminology lists, style guidelines, and language documentation.
Ensure content reflects the intended brand voice and local market expectations.
Support improvements to translation and localization workflows.

Requirements

Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi.
Professional-level written and spoken English.
Previous experience in translation, localization, proofreading, or linguistic quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of Hindi grammar, spelling, punctuation, and stylistic conventions.
Ability to write clear, natural, and audience-appropriate Hindi content.
Strong understanding of Hindi cultural references, idioms, and language trends.
Contractor arrangement.
Hourly commitment of 40+ hours per week.
Remote location available for candidates in the US and Canada.
Hourly rate of $10–$30 per hour.
