Description

  • Set the venture’s strategy, including ICP, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with ecommerce sellers and converting them into paid engagements.
  • Build the go-to-market motion for the company.
  • Partner with FutureSight’s product and engineering team to ship the V1 product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team.
  • Establish the company’s culture and operating foundation.
  • Work as a co-creator with FutureSight’s cross-functional venture studio team.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, including the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Direct ecommerce experience, such as operating a multi-channel business, selling software into the market, or building tools for ecommerce sellers at scale.
  • A network within the ecommerce seller community, including Amazon sellers, Shopify operators, and 3PL partners.
  • Willingness to apply with a resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief note on founder fit.
  • Comfort with a co-founder partnership model rather than a salaried executive role.
