Description

  • Reposition the company website messaging to clearly explain what the business does and why it matters.
  • Build the founders' LinkedIn presence into a credible and consistent channel.
  • Establish the company's social media cadence and voice.
  • Prepare press materials and partner-facing assets for upcoming seed round and partnership announcements.
  • Serve as the company's full marketing and communications function during the engagement.
  • Work directly with all three founders to align narrative and communications priorities.
  • Create a legacy playbook the team can use after the contract ends.

Requirements

  • Experience as a fractional CMO, ex-agency strategist, or startup marketing lead comfortable working without a brief.
  • A proven track record of taking a technical company from invisible to credible, with before-and-after work to show.
  • Exceptional writing ability to translate clinical AI concepts into language trusted by buyers, journalists, and investors.
  • AI or health-tech fluency is strongly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in the health-tech or AI space is essential.
  • Comfort shipping work independently with direct founder access and full creative latitude.
  • Prior fractional CMO or agency leadership experience is a plus.
  • Portfolio work in regulated or clinical spaces is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with health-tech or AI press are a plus.
  • Bay Area location is preferred.
