Description

  • Review and peer-check mathematics lessons against quality and instructional design standards.
  • Verify mathematical accuracy, curriculum alignment and overall lesson quality for Years 7–12 content.
  • Test lessons from a student perspective to confirm questions, interactive activities, dynamic variables and AI-generated feedback work correctly.
  • Build and quality check standard Desmos interactive elements such as graphs, lines and shapes.
  • Verify that graphics, diagrams and other visual assets are correctly embedded and displayed on the platform.
  • Identify issues, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities, and provide clear feedback through Jira, Loom and other tools.
  • Maintain accurate quality logs, review records and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with writers, instructional designers, project leads and subject matter experts to improve lesson quality.

Requirements

  • Strong subject matter expertise in secondary school Mathematics (Years 7–12).
  • Experience teaching, reviewing, editing, writing or developing mathematics curriculum or educational content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum-aligned learning and quality assurance processes.
  • Confidence using digital platforms and learning new systems and tools quickly.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide clear, specific and actionable feedback.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote project team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating exceptional educational experiences.
  • Open to full-time or part-time work for a 3-month fixed-term contract; 3 positions available.
