Description

  • Review completed robot manipulation video annotations across atomic motion, skill/subtask, and task/goal labeling levels.
  • Cross-check annotator descriptions against three camera views to verify actions, object identification, and contact or grasp details.
  • Verify full video coverage and confirm there are no labeling gaps, including idle or pause moments.
  • Check that annotations accurately reflect outcomes shown in the video, including failures, drops, and slipped grips.
  • Evaluate annotations for style guide adherence, including vocabulary, spatial accuracy, and consistent terminology.
  • Identify recurring annotator errors and report them to the team lead for calibration.
  • Provide specific, actionable feedback on rejected or revised annotations using the style guide and reference examples.
  • Participate in calibration sessions with the team and client to align QC standards on evolving guidelines and edge cases.
  • Maintain QC logs or tracking sheets documenting review outcomes, common errors, and annotator performance trends.

Requirements

  • Excellent written English and strong reading comprehension.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to catch subtle mismatches between video and written descriptions.
  • Strong grasp of spatial and mechanical description, including left/right, above/below, and object parts.
  • Ability to apply a detailed style guide consistently and make sound judgment calls in ambiguous cases.
  • Comfort giving clear, specific, constructive written feedback to annotators.
  • Reliable, self-directed work habits and ability to work independently while meeting turnaround expectations.
  • Prior experience in a QC, editing, proofreading, or annotation review role (preferred).
  • Experience with video annotation, data labeling, or transcription QA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with robotics terminology such as grippers, end-effectors, and manipulation (preferred).
  • Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio, including review and approval workflows (preferred).
