Description

  • Perform manual penetration testing of web applications, APIs, internal and external networks, and iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Work as part of a pentest team and collaborate directly with clients during engagements.
  • Document the results of assessments, audits, tests, and verification activities in detail.
  • Perform manual validation of vulnerabilities.
  • Test web and mobile applications for OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in Cobalt’s onboarding, technical assessment, and background verification process before starting projects.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of pentesting or similar experience.
  • Deep understanding of application security.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Professional demeanor and respectful collaboration style.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Desire to become an expert in the field.
  • Freelance, part-time availability.
  • Not an entry-level role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CREST, PenTest+, GPEN, CEH, OSCP, AWS, CISSP, eCPPT, eWAPT, OSCE, or OSWE are a plus.
  • Preference given to applicants referred by other Cobalt Core pentesters.
