Description

  • Refresh and rewrite existing pages, including title tags, headers, intros, internal links, and schema.
  • Publish new pages targeting pre-prioritized keyword clusters.
  • Optimize pages by analyzing and applying patterns from competitors that outrank the company.
  • Ship an average of two pieces of work per day, including refreshes, new pages, and optimization passes.
  • Build backlinks and authority through outreach for listicles, guest posts, resource pages, and partner placements.
  • Identify content gaps where competitors are earning links and the company is not.
  • Manage and grow the backlink profile using tools such as PressWhizz, BuzzStream, or similar.
  • Monitor keyword rankings weekly for shipped pages.
  • Log each experiment in the team tracker, including hypothesis, change made, and result.
  • Write short async recaps on what moved, what did not, and why.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on SEO or content execution experience in an agency, in-house, or freelance setting.
  • Direct experience editing pages, publishing content, and managing outreach personally.
  • Ability to work quickly and complete a refresh-and-ship task in hours rather than days.
  • Comfort using at least one major SEO tool such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar for keyword research and competitive analysis.
  • Familiarity with a CMS such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
  • Ability to read Google Search Console data and turn insights into action.
  • Strong written English and the ability to produce or substantially edit a 1,500-word page with minimal rework.
  • Comfort working asynchronously across time zones.
  • Bonus: experience with structured data, schema markup, or technical SEO basics.
  • Comfort with fast, direct feedback loops and a clear output-focused working style.
