Description

  • Research keywords and search trends to inform content strategy.
  • Optimize on-page metadata, structured data, and other SEO elements for evergreen editorial articles.
  • Conduct content audits and refresh pages to improve search rankings.
  • Support technical SEO implementations across the Audience Development team.
  • Track keyword rankings, traffic shifts, and content performance in Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
  • Optimize YouTube video metadata, including titles, descriptions, and chapters.
  • Audit, organize, and optimize playlists to improve discoverability and watch time.
  • Pull performance data, maintain tracking spreadsheets, and update internal dashboards.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives and report on results.
  • Compile competitive research and flag trends, opportunities, and anomalies to the SEO Manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SEO experience.
  • Experience implementing SEO process or structural changes based on data and user behavior.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Search Console, YouTube Studio, Clearscope, and Ahrefs.
  • Experience with YouTube optimization.
  • Familiarity with optimizing for AI overviews or generative optimization.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Strong knowledge of anime culture and its importance to the broader community.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with social media platform algorithms, especially TikTok, search behavior, and traffic sources (bonus).
  • Experience with content management systems such as Storyblok (bonus).
  • Knowledge of structured data/schema markup, including experience with Databricks (bonus).
  • Experience with Mixpanel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms (bonus).
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or fan communities (bonus).

  • $38.63 to $47.29 USD hourly pay range for Los Angeles.
  • Remote work location in Los Angeles.
