Description

  • Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide range of clients.
  • Work directly in HTML and CSS to build email code and platform-specific logic for dynamic templates.
  • Implement programs inside marketing platforms, including mock API calls and flow handling.
  • QA and test email and campaign output across marketing platforms with clients directly.
  • Collaborate with email developers, customer success managers, and client teams to resolve deployment issues and work through requests.
  • Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure email output complies with client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Test email messages using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of email production and development experience.
  • Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email.
  • Proficiency with JSON.
  • Understanding of APIs, including how they work and how to make GET and POST calls.
  • Understanding of how data feeds work.
  • Ability to build responsive email code for different devices.
  • Strong email etiquette and ability to communicate testing, QC, and updates directly with clients.
  • Ability to take feedback, clarify it, and make adjustments multiple times if needed.
  • Experience with Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Liquid or Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma (preferred).
