Description

  • Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide range of clients.
  • Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to resolve deployment issues.
  • Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Work directly with client teams to handle requests, answer questions, and support work-in-progress tasks.
  • Ensure email campaigns comply with client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Test email messages and templates using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid.
  • Implement programs within marketing platforms and make mock API calls using tools such as Postman.
  • Handle edge cases and route users into different flows as required.
  • Work directly in HTML, CSS, and platform-specific code to add dynamic logic and responsive behavior.
  • QA and test deliverables across various marketing platforms with clients directly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of email production and development experience.
  • Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email.
  • Proficiency with JSON.
  • Understanding of APIs and ability to make GET and POST calls.
  • Understanding of how a data feed works.
  • Ability to make email code responsive for different devices.
  • Strong email etiquette and ability to communicate directly with clients on testing, QC, and updates.
  • Ability to take feedback, clarify it, and make revisions as needed.
  • Experience with platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Liquid, Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma (preferred).
