Description

  • Review AI-generated and localized Swahili/Kiswahili content for natural flow and cultural accuracy.
  • Navigate software applications to identify layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in the Swahili/Kiswahili interface.
  • Document and report linguistic and technical errors clearly in English according to testing guidelines.
  • Participate in linguistic QA for content in the information technology, software, and AI domain.
  • Work within a secure testing environment using the required Mac device.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken Swahili/Kiswahili.
  • Professional-level English comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Active access to a Mac computer with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).
  • Strong understanding of modern Swahili cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic expressions.
  • Comfort navigating new software interfaces and following detailed testing guidelines.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote independent contract work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify grammatical, formatting, and UI errors.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory onboarding training; no prior linguistic testing or translation experience required.
