Description

  • Architect, deploy, and support production-grade platform infrastructure, AI features, agentic workflows, and interactive user experiences.
  • Translate ambiguous business and user requirements into staged technical execution plans.
  • Design foundational infrastructure that enables teams to build, test, and ship AI capabilities safely.
  • Develop automated validation and verification frameworks for AI-generated features, models, and financial business logic.
  • Integrate AI/ML models with backend and frontend systems.
  • Identify architectural bottlenecks, reduce technical debt, and maintain high code quality.
  • Manage and optimize AWS services including ECS, Lambda, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3, Bedrock, and Amplify.
  • Mentor engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and AI-native engineering practices.
  • Communicate technical decisions, outcomes, risks, and challenges to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain data quality, privacy, and ethical AI standards while evaluating new infrastructure and cloud services.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in fintech, platform development, ERP integrations, or SaaS applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, including complex backend architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3, Bedrock, and Amplify, plus cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong relational and non-relational database skills.
  • Experience leading complex projects from ambiguity through production delivery in asynchronous, globally distributed environments.
  • Experience designing automated testing and verification for high-consequence business logic.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
  • Experience building custom AI-assisted coding skills and integrating Model Context Protocols (MCPs), including tools such as Jira.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills; data science and model-tuning experience are preferred.
