Description

  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for features and enhancements within the product area.
  • Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, usable design solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Research throughout discovery, design, and delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from the Design Lead and partners.
  • Ensure designs align with Xometry’s design system, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
  • Support engineering handoff by providing clear specifications and design documentation.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, technical constraints, and changing priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience working on digital products.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers in agile product teams.
  • Solid skills in Figma and modern design systems and workflows.
  • Ability to clearly explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
  • Comfort working within defined product direction and constraints.
  • Attention to detail and pride in high-quality execution.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Willingness to ask questions when the context is unclear.
  • Ability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines with guidance from a Design Lead.
  • Openness to learning, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with complex workflows, marketplaces, or B2B products (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with design systems and component-based design (nice to have).
  • Exposure to user research or data-informed design (nice to have).
