Description

  • Lead client-facing technical discovery workshops and translate business requirements into technical decisions.
  • Define the implementation approach across Contentful, React, AWS services and enterprise systems.
  • Establish architecture boundaries across CMS capabilities, frontend functionality, middleware and backend services.
  • Define API, integration and middleware patterns for identity, profile and other enterprise services.
  • Review and evolve Contentful content models, composition rules and reusable content patterns.
  • Shape the AWS-based integration and service layer connecting Contentful, frontend applications and APIs.
  • Convert discovery outcomes into technical scope, architecture and an actionable implementation backlog.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through engineering guidance, code reviews and resolution of complex decisions.
  • Ensure security, performance, automated testing, CI/CD and observability practices across delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Contentful and headless CMS architectures.
  • Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and integration layers.
  • Strong understanding of API design, middleware and system integration patterns.
  • Experience designing headless CMS solutions within larger enterprise architectures.
  • Experience integrating CMS platforms with APIs, identity/profile services and other enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience leading technical discovery, requirements analysis and solution design.
  • Ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience providing hands-on technical leadership.
  • Fluency in English and availability until 18:00 PL to collaborate with the UK project team.
