Description

  • Design intuitive and visually polished user experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Create high-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes in Figma.
  • Collaborate with the founder to translate business goals into user-centered experiences.
  • Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation and maintain design quality throughout development.
  • Improve existing user flows across product discovery, rentals, checkout, onboarding, and account management.
  • Design new marketplace operations experiences, including garment care workflows, notifications, and lender management.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Conduct UX research when needed and iterate designs based on user feedback and business priorities.
  • Advocate for usability, accessibility, consistency, and modern design best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, auto layout, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff.
  • Experience designing responsive web applications and mobile-first experiences.
  • Previous experience designing products within the fashion retail industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Experience working directly with founders, product teams, or non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present and defend design decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for creating premium user experiences.
  • Experience designing fashion e-commerce or marketplace platforms is preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing work for fashion retail brands or luxury consumer products is preferred.
  • Experience designing mobile applications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketplace user journeys, checkout optimization, and conversion-focused UX is preferred.
  • Understanding of modern frontend development workflows and developer handoff best practices is preferred.
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced product environments is preferred.
