Description

  • Listen to audio recordings in Mandarin Chinese and transcribe them with high accuracy.
  • Add timestamps to transcriptions to align written content with the audio.
  • Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata.
  • Ensure transcriptions reflect the intended tone, meaning, and cultural nuance of the recordings.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across deliverables.
  • Meet project deadlines and follow transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.

Requirements

  • Native or professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese at C1/C2 level.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in audio recordings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deliver error-free transcriptions.
  • Familiarity with transcription tools/software.
  • Ability to work with timestamps and tagging.
  • Availability to commit at least 10-15 hours per week, with up to 20 hours based on availability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
