Description

  • Listen to audio recordings in Bengali and transcribe them with high accuracy.
  • Add timestamps to transcriptions to align text with the audio.
  • Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata.
  • Ensure transcriptions reflect the intended tone, meaning, and cultural nuance of the recordings.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across outputs.
  • Follow project-specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver consistent transcriptions within the assigned schedule.

Requirements

  • Native or professional proficiency in Bengali (C1/C2 level) and strong English proficiency.
  • Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in audio recordings.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to deliver error-free work.
  • Familiarity with transcription tools/software and working with timestamps and tagging.
  • Availability for a flexible commitment of at least 10-15 hours per week, up to 20 hours based on availability.
  • Ability to work as a freelance/independent contractor in a remote setting.
  • Commitment to deadlines and consistent, high-quality delivery.
