Description

  • Translate patent-related content from Italian into English while preserving the original meaning and readability for the target audience.
  • Proofread and review translated patent content for accuracy and style adequacy.
  • Follow client instructions, including translation workflow and CAT tool usage.
  • Communicate effectively in English and respond promptly to project needs.
  • Handle patent content across technical fields such as Electricity, Computer Science, Mechanics, and Medical Devices.
  • Work on translation, copy editing, and MTPE tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience translating and reviewing content in patent fields.
  • Native-level fluency in English (target language).
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience translating patents in Electricity, Computer Science, Mechanics, or Medical Devices is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to translate, copy edit, and perform MTPE.
  • Immediate availability to start on an ASAP basis.
  • Experience using CAT tools, specifically XTM, is required or preferred based on project instructions.
