Description

  • Proofread and translate life sciences content from English into French Canadian.
  • Copyedit investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy-related documents.
  • Perform translation, proofreading, and machine translation tasks as assigned.
  • Use the XTM CAT tool to complete project work.
  • Collaborate on an ongoing freelance basis based on availability and project volume.
  • Support quality assurance of multilingual pharmaceutical content.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience translating and copyediting content in life sciences-related subject areas such as investigator-facing, patient-facing, and/or pharmacy materials.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French Canadian.
  • Experience using CAT tools.
  • Translation degree, or 2 years of translation experience if holding another degree, or 5 years of translation experience if no degree is held.
  • Ability to work remotely as a freelance/independent contractor.
  • Availability for an expected weekly volume of 2,000 to 5,000 words, with no minimum volume requirement.
  • Experience working on ongoing collaboration projects is preferred.
