Description

  • Edit and review machine-translated customer service content for accuracy and consistency.
  • Evaluate machine translation output quality and apply severity ratings according to project guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality human translations to serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation.
  • Follow style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements provided by the project.
  • Identify and report recurring machine translation quality issues and batch-level trends.
  • Work on intermittent, ad hoc tasks assigned throughout the year based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in French (Canada) and strong English skills.
  • Experience in translation, localization, or machine translation post-editing.
  • Familiarity with machine translation quality evaluation and error identification.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in an online environment.
  • Experience with customer service content (preferred).
  • Comfort with intermittent freelance work and variable volumes/timing.
  • Ability to follow detailed project guidelines, terminology, and tone requirements.
