Description

  • Translate and copy edit content across investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI materials.
  • Collaborate with Welocalize as part of a freelance language expert team on multiple accounts and programs.
  • Maintain high-quality linguistic output aligned with target-language cultural nuances.
  • Use CAT tools and related workflows to complete translation and localization assignments.
  • Work within project and quality assurance processes across translation, localization, interpretation, and QA testing tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating and copy editing content in relevant subject matter areas or verticals.
  • Professional-level understanding of English, including US or GB usage.
  • Native-level expertise in Tigrinya as the target language, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Experience with CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Translation degree, or 3 years of translation experience if no degree, or 5 years of translation experience if no degree is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with a freelance team across multiple accounts and programs.
