Description

  • Review machine-translated song lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness.
  • Provide quality ratings using predefined evaluation criteria.
  • Identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, and cultural inaccuracies.
  • Maintain consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
  • Evaluate translations without rewriting or editing the source text.
  • Contribute feedback that supports improvement of automated translation systems.

Requirements

  • Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English (US) and German (Germany).
  • Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages.
  • Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration across large volumes of content.
  • Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is a nice to have.
  • Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms is a nice to have.
  • Ability to work as a freelance reviewer on a flexible schedule.
  • Resume submission required to be considered for the role.
