Description

  • Translate and copy edit patent content from English (en-US) into Mongolian (mn-MN).
  • Perform linguistic quality assessment (LQA) and quality control on translated content.
  • Identify and correct linguistic errors to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain terminology, style, and adherence to client-specific guidelines.
  • Provide detailed feedback to translators and prepare quality reports.
  • Use CAT tools to review and assess translations efficiently.
  • Follow client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project instructions.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in English (en-US) and Mongolian (mn-MN).
  • 2+ years of experience in translation, linguistic quality assessment, copywriting, or copy-editing, specifically for patents or technical content.
  • BS/BA in linguistics, translation, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of biological and chemical terminology.
  • Experience translating or reviewing patents or technical documents.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools.
  • Immediate availability for an ASAP start date.
  • Ability to adapt complex scientific language for target audiences.
