Description

  • Translate and post-edit marketing content from English-US into Cherokee.
  • Work on one or more assigned products as part of a translator team.
  • Review each other’s work to help maintain quality and consistency.
  • Meet short turnaround times, typically within 24-48 hours.
  • Handle small daily jobs as they come in.
  • Participate in initial training and follow-up reviews with experienced resources.
  • Maintain regular availability to support ongoing project needs.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Cherokee.
  • Experience and interest in IT, software, marketing, and social media are preferred.
  • Ability to work as a freelance linguist on a remote basis.
  • Availability to take on regular work, ideally with frequent availability.
  • Comfort working with short deadlines, typically 24-48 hours.
  • Willingness to receive training and feedback at the start of the project.
