Description

  • Translate and post-edit gaming-related content with precision and creativity.
  • Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect Dutch gaming culture, trends, and idiomatic usage.
  • Collaborate with the assessment team to complete brief linguistic and creative testing in the platform.
  • Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across UI, banners, promotional assets, and in-game text.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve content relevance and user engagement.
  • Work on translation, transcreation, and copy editing tasks for English (US) to Dutch (NL) content.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of Dutch (Netherlands) with deep cultural fluency.
  • Experience in gaming, apps, or creative localization.
  • Strong familiarity with gaming terminology, trends, genres, and cultural context.
  • Comfortable using CAT tools and adapting content to multiple platforms.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism.
  • Creative writing background preferred.
  • Ability to complete an attached translation and gaming/creative assessment test.
  • Daily or weekly availability preferred, with a workload of 2–5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Updated resume must be submitted in English.
