Description

  • Analyze style guide and glossary updates, client corrections, calibration discussions, and quality requirements.
  • Run alignment roundtables and publish monthly quality reports covering performance, improvement priorities, updates, errors, and arbitration outcomes.
  • Coach reviewers through one-to-one feedback, shadowing sessions, and training based on alignment data.
  • Develop evidence-based style guide proposals from recurring issues and share cross-locale quality patterns.
  • Manage client alignment, clarifications, escalations, arbitration, and expectation tracking with the Language Manager.
  • Own the locale’s review service score, including RQE audits and alignment performance.
  • Maintain a shared understanding of quality across the language community.
  • Ensure arbitration records are accurate, valid, and well-supported by evidence.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance, Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
  • Direct experience managing client Language Managers, formal arbitration or escalation processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Practical expertise with localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
  • Ability to analyze style guide changes, implicit client expectations, and content-type-specific quality tolerances.
  • Experience facilitating coaching sessions, shadowing, alignment roundtables, and monthly quality reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills in tracking error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores.
  • Native-level Armenian and professional-level English.
  • Experience with major technology localization programs and calibration or alignment tools preferred.
  • Physical location in an approved country and successful completion of a background check.
  • Availability for approximately 24 hours per month as an independent contractor.
