Description

  • Design and execute exploratory, boundary, and equivalence-partitioning tests across onboarding forms and workflows.
  • Validate step progression, action states, submission behavior, confirmations, and state transitions under varied inputs.
  • Formalize and maintain the onboarding finite-state-machine model, including decision forks, dependencies, personas, and boundary conditions.
  • Lead defect triage by assessing severity, impact, priority, and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and verify fixes against original defect conditions.
  • Mentor junior QA testers on exploratory testing and structured test design.
  • Document test strategy, coverage plans, observed UI behavior, FSM states, and supporting evidence.
  • Validate coverage across representative onboarding personas and identify testing gaps.
  • Prepare a validated frontend/state-model evidence package for the Middleware SDET workstream.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of QA Analyst experience covering frontend and middleware testing.
  • Expertise in exploratory and boundary testing methodologies.
  • Practical experience with equivalence partitioning and formal test design techniques.
  • Familiarity with state machines, workflow states, and multi-step state-transition validation.
  • Strong defect triage and cross-team coordination experience.
  • Ability to identify non-obvious edge cases and translate application behavior into structured state-transition models.
  • Effective communication skills for leading triage discussions and mentoring peers.
  • Experience testing onboarding, registration, account-creation, or other complex multi-step workflows (preferred).
  • Working familiarity with browser and network developer tools (preferred).
  • Availability for 40 hours per week over the four-week project; India-based remote work.
