Description

  • Provide live linguistic quality assurance review from English into Hebrew.
  • Create Hebrew designations for a conceptual termbase related to parts, engines, motors, and technologies used in modern trucks and buses.
  • Ensure translations are based on the English definition and are accurate and consistent across the termbase.
  • Review Hebrew content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, fluency, terminology, consistency, and style issues.
  • Conduct copy-editing and quality checks in the target language and locale.
  • Work with CAT tools, including XTM and Phrase.
  • Handle a low weekly volume of work, estimated at less than 500 words per week.

Requirements

  • Native Hebrew speaker with fluent English (UK), since source terms and concept-level data are in English UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Terminology Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Proven experience in terminology management, preferably in a professional setting or specialized industry.
  • Familiarity with terminology management principles, processes, and tools is required.
  • Knowledge of database management, data entry, and file management processes.
  • Strong understanding of automotive terminology, especially trucks and buses part denominations, technologies, and HIM/driving assistance technologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Word Track Changes tools or Jira, and terminology management software, is a plus.
