Description

  • Develop and maintain the Hebrew termset in a multilingual terminology database for parts, engines, motors, and technologies in modern trucks and buses.
  • Provide accurate Hebrew term designations that are culturally and technically appropriate.
  • Ensure consistent use of terminology across different components and entries.
  • Research automotive industry trends and advancements to keep the terminology database aligned with current standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather input and feedback on terminology usage and requirements.
  • Support terminology choices with market validators who review the Hebrew designations.
  • Use the English UK source terminology and concept-level data as the basis for Hebrew term creation.
  • Validate and verify terminology accuracy, relevance, and consistency.

Requirements

  • Native Hebrew speaker.
  • Fluent in English (UK).
  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Terminology Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in terminology management, preferably in a professional setting or specialized industry.
  • Familiarity with terminology management principles, processes, and tools is required.
  • Knowledge of database management, data entry, and file management processes.
  • Strong understanding of automotive terminology, especially for trucks and buses, parts denominations, and technologies.
  • Understanding of HIM and driving assistance technologies.
  • Proficient in terminology research using various resources and in validating terminology accuracy and relevance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities.
