Description

  • Review machine-translated song lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness.
  • Provide quality ratings using predefined evaluation criteria.
  • Identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, and cultural inaccuracies.
  • Maintain consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
  • Support the improvement of automated translation systems through feedback on evaluated lyrics.

Requirements

  • Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English (US) and French (France).
  • Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages.
  • Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content.
  • Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is preferred.
  • Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms is preferred.
  • Must be available to work remotely from an accepted country listed in the posting.
  • Freelance availability with a flexible schedule and an average commitment of about 4 hours per day.
  • Resume submission is required to be considered for the role.
