Description

Review machine-translated song lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness.
Provide quality ratings using predefined evaluation criteria.
Identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, and cultural inaccuracies.
Maintain consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
Support the improvement of automated translation systems through feedback on evaluated lyrics.

Requirements

Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English (US) and French (France).
Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages.
Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content.
Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is preferred.
Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms is preferred.
Must be available to work remotely from an accepted country listed in the posting.
Freelance availability with a flexible schedule and an average commitment of about 4 hours per day.
