Description

  • Translate patent-related content from English into Estonian while preserving meaning and readability.
  • Perform machine translation post-editing, copy editing, and quality control.
  • Work on patent content in chemistry, electricity, and computer science.
  • Follow project instructions and CAT-tool processes.
  • Communicate promptly and effectively in English.
  • Manage an expected weekly volume of 2,000–5,000 weighted words.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Estonian.
  • At least 2 years of experience translating and reviewing patent content.
  • Experience with patent content in electricity, computer science, and chemistry.
  • Ability to translate, copy edit, and perform machine translation post-editing.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Immediate availability for freelance patent translation projects.
  • Ability to use XTM for translation and JIRA for quality control.
