Description

  • Translate and proofread English content into Corsican for marketing, product, service, UI, online help, and informational materials.
  • Perform copy-editing on localized content to ensure clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Maintain brand voice, marketing tone, and customer-facing messaging across assignments.
  • Use the client-specific CAT tool to complete translation work, with training provided.
  • Meet weekly volume targets of approximately 500 to 1,000 words while delivering on deadline.
  • Apply terminology and style-guide requirements to ensure consistency across all content.
  • Review and revise translations based on feedback from production and localization teams.
  • Collaborate with global teams in a multicultural, international workflow.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Corsican (Corsu) with excellent command of US English.
  • Proven experience translating from English into Corsican.
  • 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with informational, marketing, product, service, online help, and UI content.
  • Experience using CAT tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer-facing communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible, reliable, and responsive in a fast-paced localization environment.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions.
