Description

  • Review AI-generated and localized Latvian content to ensure natural flow and cultural accuracy.
  • Navigate software and applications to identify layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in the Latvian interface.
  • Document and report linguistic and technical errors clearly in English using the provided testing guidelines.
  • Participate in linguistic QA for content across information technology, software, and AI domains.
  • Follow training and onboarding materials to complete testing assignments accurately.
  • Work independently on remote freelance projects and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken Latvian.
  • Professional-level English comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Active access to a Mac computer with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).
  • Strong understanding of modern Latvian cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic expressions.
  • Comfort navigating new software interfaces and reporting technical/linguistic bugs clearly in English.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote contract work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify minor grammatical, formatting, and UI errors.
  • Willingness and ability to complete mandatory onboarding training.
  • No prior experience in linguistic testing or translation required (training provided).
