Description

  • Execute functional and linguistic QA using testing instructions and test cases.
  • Follow project quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries.
  • Review, create, and validate metadata for film, TV, and music content.
  • Log, track, prioritize, and provide actionable feedback on issues.
  • Meet productivity and quality targets while completing repetitive tasks.
  • Make informed decisions in ambiguous situations and escalate risks when needed.
  • Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to improve product quality and data integrations.
  • Ensure content is culturally and linguistically relevant for the target locale.
  • Communicate findings clearly in written and spoken form.

Requirements

  • Business-level English communication skills and strong fluency and cultural understanding of a second language.
  • 1+ year of experience in QA, data analysis, localization, content operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, including formulas, filtering, data analysis, and pivot tables.
  • Understanding of technical terminology and industry-specific language trends.
  • Familiarity with smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming platforms, and connected devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with global teams.
  • Interest in entertainment, media, film, television, digital content, and industry trends.
  • Experience with localization tools, bug-tracking systems such as JIRA, or CMS platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of film/TV and music metadata standards or basic scripting/automation (preferred).
