Description

  • Build, maintain, and optimize highly available AWS infrastructure managed through code.
  • Implement GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate operations and reduce manual toil.
  • Configure and maintain Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry observability systems.
  • Participate in on-call incident response and lead blameless post-mortems.
  • Partner with Product, Security, and Core Engineering teams to promote standardized developer workflows and platform adoption.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and improve technical practices.
  • Maintain high-performance, low-latency private connectivity for external customer traffic.
  • Own and improve core platform components supporting global payment systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with complex, large-scale distributed systems in mission-critical environments.
  • Hands-on proficiency with AWS and Terraform.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and GitOps tools such as Flux, Argo, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for infrastructure automation and operational tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Understanding of cloud security, API gateways, load balancing, and network isolation.
  • Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products is preferred.
  • Experience with Kafka/MSK or other distributed data-streaming platforms is preferred.
  • Database performance tuning or query troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Java/Spring services and a BA/BS degree are preferred.
