Description

  • Design and deploy global-scale Lakehouse architectures using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for C-suite stakeholders and translate business goals into architectural blueprints.
  • Implement enterprise-grade security and governance frameworks using Unity Catalog.
  • Audit and tune Spark clusters and SQL warehouses to improve performance and reduce cloud spend.
  • Support adoption of Generative AI and MLOps workflows using MLflow and Mosaic AI.
  • Bridge high-level business strategy with technical execution across enterprise client engagements.
  • Advise on architecture decisions and lead technical direction for large-scale data transformation programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Architecture.
  • 4+ years of experience focused on Databricks-led enterprise solutions.
  • Expert-level mastery of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and PySpark/Scala.
  • Deep experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure (ADLS/Synapse), or GCP.
  • Proven experience automating environments with Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Expert knowledge of Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and Data Vault or Star Schema modeling.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Databricks Solutions Architect Professional certification or Databricks Champion status is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
