Description

  • Interpret live conversations between callers and English operators in real time.
  • Help speakers of Khmer, Tagalog, or Uzbek communicate clearly with English operators.
  • Work a rotating night-shift schedule with 8-hour shifts and a 1-hour break.
  • Complete a 7-week training and mentoring program.
  • Follow a 5-day workweek with 2 rotating rest days.
  • Provide consistent interpreter support during assigned working hours.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and one of the listed languages: Thai, Burmese, Tagalog, or Uzbek.
  • Ability to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
  • Ability to commit to a 12-month renewable interpreter contract.
  • Ability to commit to 7 weeks of training and mentoring sessions.
  • A quiet surrounding suitable for remote interpretation work.
  • Access to the latest iOS/Android device or a Windows 11 laptop.
  • Must be able to work from home.
  • MY citizens only for SOCSO and EPF eligibility.

Benefits

  • RM30/hour for Thai and Burmese roles, based on a minimum of 160 hours per month.
  • RM22/hour for Khmer or Uzbek roles, based on a minimum of 160 hours per month.
  • Tagalog rate offered with overtime pay.
  • SOCSO and EPF provided for Malaysian citizens.
  • 14 days paid sick leave and 12 days annual leave.
  • Coverage for some Malaysia and US public holidays.
  • Training allowance during daytime training.
  • Night-time mentoring allowance and overtime pay.
  • Medical benefits and medical leave included.
