Description

  • Manage SMP/E and z/OSMF software management activities for mainframe environments.
  • Support z/OS and ISV software installations and related implementation tasks.
  • Work with REST APIs for z/OSMF software management integrations.
  • Perform software testing covering functionality, robustness, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain Python and REXX scripts to support automation and operations.
  • Use Git and USS/OMVS tools in day-to-day mainframe work.
  • Handle IBM software and Mainframe ISV customization tasks.
  • Collaborate on remote contract deliverables for mainframe platform support.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience.
  • Strong expertise in SMP/E.
  • Hands-on experience with z/OSMF and REST APIs for software management.
  • Experience with Git and USS/OMVS.
  • Experience with z/OS and ISV software installations.
  • Strong software testing experience, including functionality, robustness, and performance testing.
  • Python and REXX scripting experience.
  • Knowledge of IBM software and Mainframe ISV customization.
  • Based in India and able to work 100% remotely.
  • Contract availability for a minimum of 1 year.
