Description

  • Drive assigned routes on public streets and public areas to collect images, video, and other location data using vehicle-mounted 360° cameras.
  • Operate and manage in-vehicle data capture equipment and onboard computers to store collected images and recordings.
  • Follow project focus areas (business districts and historic sites) and revisit locations as needed to ensure high image quality (including after poor weather).
  • Adhere to project schedule (typically Monday–Friday, ~8 hours/day, with the option to work additional hours) and meet weekly/time targets.
  • Maintain vehicle readiness and basic upkeep, ensure availability of a parking space, and follow safe driving practices.
  • Communicate with project coordinators and report issues, data quality concerns, or route deviations promptly.
  • Use a smartphone and basic apps plus basic computer tools to support data collection, logging, and communication.
  • Protect sensitive data and comply with security and screening requirements associated with the project.

Requirements

  • Valid driving license with at least 1–2 years of driving experience.
  • Must have a parking space available for the project vehicle.
  • Eligible to work in Germany.
  • Able to pass a security/background check required by the project.
  • Willingness to drive regularly and work a flexible schedule (Monday–Friday, ~8 hours/day, possible overtime).
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented work approach.
  • Good driving skills and general automotive knowledge.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, basic apps, and basic computer skills for data handling and communication.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions and route assignments.
  • Availability for an on-site field role for a project lasting at least eight months covering multiple city/region zones.
