Description

  • Work directly with a Brydon portfolio company and the portfolio operations team on post-acquisition initiatives.
  • Refine, analyze, and implement strategic initiatives after an acquisition.
  • Contribute to a focused value creation sprint in areas such as growth strategy, pricing, or product.
  • Support strategy development and execution for a small business in a private equity setting.
  • Synthesize information and present strategic recommendations using structured materials.
  • Collaborate with company and operations stakeholders to advance portfolio priorities.

Requirements

  • Current MBA student enrolled in a full-time U.S. MBA program, ideally in the first or second year.
  • At least 2 consecutive years of prior consulting experience.
  • Experience in, or strong interest in, private equity and small business.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly synthesize information and visualize strategy.
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and long-form narrative writing in Word.
  • Experience in, or interest in, Brydon’s core industries: B2B, B2G, and healthcare software and services.
  • MBB or equivalent consulting background preferred for ideal candidates.

  • Paid role at $25/hour.
  • Part-time schedule of 10-15 hours per week.
  • 1099 contractor position.
  • Flexible dates from September to December, with schedule flexibility based on semester or school calendar.
